New Coursework 2010

Welcome to all current A2 Media students! Here you will find links to all of last year's media coursework, so if you need any ideas or inspiration have a look.

Please make sure you've sent me a link to your coursework and that you've started blogging - an action plan and ideas about your song should be some of your first posts.

Enjoy!

2 weeks to go!

There are less than 2 weeks to go until the deadline and there is still a lot to do. Remember you must have had audience feedback on your products, so make sure you are posting your draft versions so that the audience can comment as you go along.

There will be no extensions to the deadline so get moving!

Why not make a poll?

Where do you watch music videos?
Online
TV Channels
On an Ipod
On a different device

pollcode.com free

It's really easy to make a poll for your blog and could be a very quick way to conduct some audience research.  I made this one at pollcode.com but there are loads of other free polling sites.  Just copy and paste the code as if you were embedding a video!

Snow Days!!

Hi all,
Even though we are all stuck at home :( remember you can still be working on your blog. Textual analysis, research on your bands, genre of music, audience, known directors etc etc can all be added. Storyboards might be best left until you are re-united with your group.

Anyone, re-taking their AS coursework needs to hand it in as soon as college re-opens!

How to embed videos from Youtube

There are loads of videos on Youtube that will help you to do this, or alternatively go to the help page on Blogger. Here's my simple instructions on how to do it:

Go to youtube and find your video.
Find the embed box and copy the code

Paste the code into the Edit HTML part of your post

Publish your post and enjoy!

Best Blogs

Even though I've missed a couple of lessons this week, I've still been looking at your work from home. Some people are a bit behind with their blog posts (you know who you are!), some of you could also improve with more pictures.

Top blogs so far are:

Michael, Rachael and Olivia

and

Charlotte, Ashley and Tom

Keep up the good work - more top bloggers next week. Will it be you??
